These days, it seems like every restaurant in town has the popular menu item, with many putting their own scrumptious spin on the Southern favorite. This 24-hour café recently added chicken & waffles to its new mouthwatering menu. Available throughout the day, the dish is priced at $14.50 and comes with a golden-brown-fried chicken breast, waffles, maple syrup, honey and bacon cream. Battered with corn flakes, rice crispies and bread crumbs, the chicken practically melts in your mouth it’s so tender. One bite and taste buds are sure to be left salivating for more!

Known for its classic Southern cooking focused on farm-fresh ingredients, Yardbird Southern Table & Bar serves chicken ‘n’ watermelon ‘n’ waffles for lunch, brunch and dinner. Made with the restaurant’s signature ‘old-school fried chicken,’ honey hot sauce, chilled spiced watermelon, cheddar cheese chow chow waffles and bourbon maple syrup, the flavorful dish is priced at $36. That might sound a little steep, but once you take your first bite you’ll realize that you can’t really put a price on something so delicious!
